Animal by-product is any waste or part of a waste which is not intended for direct human consumption and which is derived from an animal which has died; has been killed in a farm yard; has been killed in a place other than a slaughterhouse; is stillborn or unborn; has been killed for reasons of disease control; has been slaughtered for human consumption and, during the ante-mortem or post-mortem inspection carried out in connection with such slaughter, has shown signs of any disease communicable to humans or animals; has been slaughtered for human consumption but has not been presented for post-mortem inspection in accordance with the Hygiene Regulations; is spoiled in any way so as to present a risk to human or animal health; contains residues of any substances which may pose a risk to human or animal health.
Animal by-products are harmful and hygienic for the human being and are also dangerous for the environment. Some times people for the smaller benefits utilize these products but at the end the bad effects of this comes in view. So always be smart when going to purchase things like meat, eggs, fish and chicken etc
Animal By-Products classification convention does not include little hazard by-products, which includes meat from remains approved as fit for human utilization but which are not intended for human eating.
When the material like raw meat, raw fish and other parts of animal origin no longer intended for human consumption that material are animal by-products. Thus the material becomes animal by-product at the point that it is decided that it is not to be eaten by humans. A signal of that objective in a food store could be when produce is detached from sale when it is on, or afar, its sell-by date. It could be when it is withdrawn from sale due to smash up, soiling, pollution, or another reason.
