Aluminium fabrication includes the cutouts and all rectangular cutouts are made to the next bearing bar beyond the infiltration with a permission not to exceed bearing bar spacing. Cutouts for circular obstructions are recommended to be at least 2" larger in diameter than the obstruction. Cutouts can be banded using toe plate or bar the same size as the bearing bars or may be left unfinished without any banding. Straight, skew or circle cutouts are done using standard industry practices.
In aluminum fabrication cutting bar grating, handle up to some height. While the saw is not as fast as the friction type or band saw, it does make a clean burr-free cut. Band saws can cut three times faster than cold saws for maximum productivity. Cuts light and heavy gauge material, primarily used for Perforated and Expanded Metal sheets as well as Wire Cloth panels. Our hydraulic shears cut up to 3/8" thick by 12' wide. Powered by air and electricity, primarily used for cutouts, notches and special shapes; plasma cutting provides precision cutting, multiple inside cut capability plus quick turnaround with little or no set-up time.

We are able to provide approval drawings, erection and/or field drawings as require Whether your material is a standard mill finish, painted black, galvanized, fiberglass, aluminum or stainless or if you require banding, toe plate, frames or infill.
